About This Workshop
In Wet Felted Bowls, participants will explore how loose wool fibers can be transformed into strong, sculptural forms through the combination of water, soap, friction, and gentle pressure.
Each participant will use the traditional wet felting technique to create a unique, three-dimensional bowl while experimenting with wool as a colorful and versatile artistic medium.
Participants will:
- Explore wool as a versatile fiber arts material
- Learn the basic principles of traditional wet felting
- Discover how water, soap, friction, and pressure bind wool fibers together
- Experiment with color, texture, and three-dimensional form
- Transform loose wool fibers into a strong, sculptural shape
- Create a unique wet felted bowl to take home
No prior felting experience is required, and all skill levels are welcome.

Cancellations must be made 5 business days prior to the start of the workshop to receive a one-time credit for future bookings or registrations. No refunds will be provided. No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the start of the workshop. All workshops will run, subject to a minimum number of participants reached.
Program dates/times are subject to change. Enrollment minimums must be met in order for the program to run. In the event that program minimums are not met, participants will be given the option for full refund, credit, or enrollment in rescheduled events.
