About This Workshop
In Fabric Collage: Sewing & Embroidery, participants will experiment with upcycled and repurposed fabrics while learning how textiles can become works of art.
Through stitching, layering, and assembling materials, participants will create a one-of-a-kind fabric collage that reflects color, pattern, texture, and personal expression.
Participants will:
- Explore texture, layering, and storytelling through fabric
- Work with fabric scraps, upcycled materials, and repurposed textiles
- Learn basic hand sewing techniques
- Try simple embroidery stitches
- Create a unique fabric collage inspired by color, pattern, and personal expression
- Experiment with textiles as a creative art form
No prior sewing experience is required, and all skill levels are welcome.

This workshop is designed for teens and adults ages 13 and up. It is a great fit for creative beginners, makers, artists, crafters, and anyone interested in exploring fabric, sewing, embroidery, and mixed-media art.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made 5 business days prior to the start of the workshop to receive a one-time credit for future bookings or registrations. No refunds will be provided. No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the start of the workshop. All workshops will run, subject to a minimum number of participants reached.
Program dates/times are subject to change. Enrollment minimums must be met in order for the program to run. In the event that program minimums are not met, participants will be given the option for full refund, credit, or enrollment in rescheduled events.
For the Saturday, July 18, 2026 Fabric Collage: Sewing & Embroidery workshop. Includes participation in the 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM workshop. For ages 13 and up. No prior sewing experience required.
