Skate Into STEM: An Evening on the Ice for Hands On Learning

Skate Into STEM is back for year two! This is our second time hosting this popular event, and we are excited to return to the ice for another night of skating, community, and hands on STEM fun.

When: March 8
Time: 6:00 to 8:00 PM
Where: The Rinx Ice Skating Rink, Port Jefferson

The Long Island Explorium brings science, technology, engineering, and math to life through hands on, interactive experiences that spark curiosity and creativity. When you attend Skate Into STEM, you are supporting the programs that reach children, families, and schools throughout our region.

Your ticket includes:

• Ice time and skate rental for a fun night with family and friends
• Pizza and drinks during the event
• STEM themed activities and Explorium style surprises

Why it matters: Proceeds support the Explorium’s educational programs and community outreach, helping us keep hands on STEM learning accessible, engaging, and inspiring for the next generation.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be made 5 business days to start of event to receive a 1 one time credit for future bookings or registrations. No refunds will be provided. No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the start of event. All events will run, subject to a minimum number of participants reached

Program dates/times are subject to change. Enrollment minimums must be met in order for the program to run. In the event that program minimums are not met, participants will be given the option for full refund, credit, or enrollment in rescheduled events.
