DISCOVERY DAYS 2025 AT THE LONG ISLAND EXPLORIUM
School Holiday Drop-Off Program for Grades 1–5
Full Day (9–3) and Half Day (9–12) Available | Price: Half $45 / Full $90 | Total Capacity: 15 Children per Day

Turn a school holiday into a day of discovery! Each Discovery Day blends fun and learning through hands-on STEM activities designed to spark creativity, problem-solving, and curiosity. With small group sizes and experienced educators, children will enjoy a safe, engaging environment that makes the most of their day off from school.

STEMocracy: Kids Take the Vote
It’s Election Day and kids are in charge! Through creative challenges and collaborative games, young “STEMocrats” will explore the science of decision-making, teamwork, and systems in a fun, hands-on way.

Important Details:

• Open to children in Grades 1–5
• Total capacity of 15 children per date (combined Half and Full Day)
• Please send a nut-free snack and water bottle; Full Day participants must also bring a nut-free lunch
• Drop-off is at 9:00 AM; pick-up is promptly at 12:00 PM (Half Day) or 3:00 PM (Full Day)
• We welcome all learners. Please let us know how we can support your child’s needs.

Policies:

• All registration fees are non-refundable but may be credited one time toward a future Explorium event, based on availability, with at least 4 business days’ advance notice.
• Programs are subject to minimum registration numbers; if the Explorium cancels a session, you may transfer your registration or receive a full refund.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be made 5 business days to start of workshop to receive a 1time credit for future bookings or registrations. No refunds will be provided. No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the start of workshop. All workshops will run, subject to a minimum number of participants reached

Program dates/times are subject to change. Enrollment minimums must be met in order for the program to run. In the event that program minimums are not met, participants will be given the option for full refund, credit, or enrollment in rescheduled events.
